In my current position at Gagnon & Company as an IT Associate, I am responsible for assisting customers with technical issues and providing support for a variety of software and hardware systems. As part of my role, I regularly walk customers through complex problems, offering guidance and troubleshooting tips to help them resolve their issues in a timely and effective manner. I leverage my strong IT skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise way to provide exceptional service to every customer who reaches out for assistance.

As a Certified Specialty Advisor at Best Buy from October 2021 to November 2022 , I guided clients through the process of purchasing high-end technology, including complicated audio and video systems. In this role, I also troubleshooted client computer issues with Microsoft Office, Windows/ Mac/Linux Operating Systems. I provided expert advice to determine the compatibility and quality level of devices such as A/V Receivers, Computer Components, iOS & Android devices, as well as all other products in the store. Throughout my tenure, I consistently performed at a high level, exceeding sales metrics measuring revenue, membership acquisition, and customer service scores.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

October 2011 - June 2016, March 2018 - November 2019

As an assistant manager at Tropical Smoothie, I organized and oversaw the weekly delivery of food and supply inventory to the store and collaborated regularly with other crew members, shift leaders, and owners to ensure that the store ran efficiently and up to standards. As a manager, I also counted money and made bank deposits, investigated and resolved customer complaints and issues, and assigned duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements.

After working as general crew for three years, I worked my way up to the shift manager position. After another three years as a shift manager, I worked hard enough to be promoted the Assistant Manager. Due to the tireless work of the crew, myself, and the General Manager, we were able to achieve the feat of becoming the third highest volume store in franchise history.

These promotions allowed me to develop a range of managerial skills, including leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organization. I learned how to delegate tasks effectively, how to address and resolve conflicts, and how to motivate my team to achieve our goals. These skills have been invaluable in my professional development and have helped me to succeed in subsequent roles.

As a Bank Teller at Santander Bank from August 2017 to January 2018, I explained, promoted, and sold various products and services, such as travelers’ checks, savings bonds, money orders, cashier’s checks, and credit cards. In this role, I also received and counted high daily inventories of cash and monetary transactions, balanced currency, coins, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculated daily transactions using computers, calculators, and other technology. I also resolved problems and discrepancies concerning customers’ accounts and cashed checks, paying out money after verifying that signatures were correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts had sufficient funds.
